The Insho Domoto Museum of Fine Arts

This is a place that I saw accidentally when I was walking around Kyoto looking for Ryoanji. Insho Domoto was a Japanese artist in the 1920's and he studied both Japanese art and Western art in Paris. This building was originally his house, and now it is a museum to his art.

Today the subway stopped halfway home because the doors wouldn't close, so after a half-hour delay, we all had to get off and wait for another train. The subway was older than me; I remember those vinyl benches from when I was a kid. Thanks to the wonderful T.T.C. (Toronto Transit Commission) again.

Yesterday the subway was stopped for 45 minutes, but we didn't know why because the P.A. system is always unintelligible.
