English Expression of the Day: High Tide, Low Tide

High Tide - is when the water in the ocean is high ... or you can say ... The tide comes in.

Low Tide - is when the water in the ocean is low ... or you can say ... The tide goes out.

Example:

When the tide goes out, we dig for clams.

or

We dig for clams at low tide.
