Hirano Shrine is another shrine that I found by accident when I was looking for RYOANJI in Kyoto. I think that Hirano Shrine is also the tomb of one of the Kyoto emperors, but I couldn't read the signs.
It looked like they were getting ready for a big cherry blossom-viewing party :)
