kinder
...
'kinder' is a German word meaning 'children'. We get the word 'kindergarten' (children-garden --- school before Grade 1) from the German.
There is also a German candy called Kinder Surprise. It is sold in Canada but not in the U.S. It is a chocolate egg with a small toy inside.
