"I'm at the end of my rope" means:
I can't do anything. / I can't go anywhere. / I can't stand it. / I can't take it any more.
The expression comes from tying up a horse or a dog with a rope so that it can't go anywhere. (tether)
This blog is mainly to explain a different English language expression every day. Sometimes I post other stuff. I also have a YouTube channel which is mostly about computer software: https://www.youtube.com/englishspacedog
