'deep freeze' means a freezer for keeping frozen food, or very cold weather.

That means that you can't see because of the snow.

It's the end of the week. I'm dog-tired. This means that I'm very tired, like a dog that just lies on the ground.

The driving was very bad today. Everybody had to drive very slowly. There was snow on the roads and it was slippery.
